This week we're continuing our study of dystopias.
Reminders:
1) Remediation/Extra Credit Work is due no later than May 12. The earlier, the better!!
2) Any and all late/missing work should be turned in asap. If it is not turned in by Friday, May 8, it will not be graded.
3) The SLO grades are in Synergy, but have been changed to not for grading. Say thank you to Ms. Perkins!
4) Final Exams are just around the corner... are you doing what you need to do?!?
This week:
Monday: Discuss population control and handicaps. Read "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. Complete graphic organizer. View "2081," and compare/contrast the two versions.
Tuesday: Intro to Anthem by Ayn Rand. Complete vocabulary work and anticipation guide.
Wednesday: Read Ch. 1 of Anthem.
Thursday: Read Ch. 2 + 3 of Anthem.
Friday: Read Ch. 4, 5, + 6 of Anthem.
(Note: These days and chapters are flexible! It just depends on how far we can get.)

*If you are absent, then you will need to stay caught up with the class, as much as possible.
You will complete reading journal questions each day, all of which should be compiled and turned in when we finish the novella.
