We simply don't have enough time to cover it all! Because of that, we are going to focus on the modern challenges of immigration and the connection between stereotypes and immigrants, since that's the focus of our unit.

- Defining some more important terms: immigrant, emigrant, *undocumented immigrant* (which is the term we will ALWAYS use), and refugee.
- Brainstorming and discussing some issues and challenges that immigrants face
- Watching a TED Talk by Jose Antonio Vargas, author of the essay "My Life as an Undocumented Immigrant," and completing a graphic organizer similar to yesterday's, used to analyze the persuasive and rhetorical strategies used in the speech.
