Friday the 13th! Hapy Friday - and just one more week left to finish up the semester.
Today we'll begin by reviewing Act 4 (read in Literature Circles yesterday) and brainstorming about the major plot event that is missing (gasp!) from the text. Then we will watch the film version of Acts 4 and 5, summarizing the plot line and all major events, and discuss why the filmmakers chose the ending they did.
Some things to review for the Pygmalion assessment:
- the Pygmalion motif and how the play relates to the myth
- characterization (major and minor characters)
- social class issues
- the importance of language
Reminder:
Your take-home section of the Pygmalion test is due on Monday.
The rest of the test will be Monday and Tuesday, in class.
Finals are Thursday (1st and 2nd block) and Friday (3rd block).
Have a great weekend!
