Today we have two major tasks: 1) Return to our dystopian fiction writing from Friday and present those stories to the class, and 2) Complete a one-pager on dystopia to show our understanding and analysis of the themes and characteristics related to a dystopia. (Due on Friday!)
Tomorrow we are beginning an in-class project in which students will research a real-world/modern-day/historical dystopia with a partner and create a Glogster to showcase their findings. All the information will be distributed tomorrow.
Finally, later this week I will be working with students to complete grade reflections and determine which projects/missing assignments could be impacting their grades. Students may make up and turn any work from Unit 2 or Unit 3; I'll give specific deadlines and due dates before we leave for break. When we return, we are down to the very end.... grades should not come as a surprise!
