Monday: OPTIC Warm-up, then to the media center for guidance lessons, then a short vocab quiz.
Tuesday: Journal Warm-up, then we will read and annotate Ch. 3 of Enrique's Journey - which will help you better understand what it's like to journey on top of a train and try to survive that trip many migrants make.
Wednesday and Thursday: We're doing OPTICS and watching the documentary film "Which Way Home." You'll complete a graphic organizer while watching and some documentary film analysis questions after.
Friday: 1st block - You'll be in the media center to work on your PBL with World History and Art.
2nd and 4th: We'll be doing an activity about immigrant stereotypes and watching the show "What Would You Do?" From this, you will practice writing a persuasive claim statement.
